Configuring Computers for DSL

These pages show how to configure a computer to talk to your modem or router.

In general, most computers are set up to use "DHCP", or automatic setup, to connect to their network.

If your connection is usuing PPPOE or if you have STATIC ADDRESSES, and you are connected directly to your modem, then you may need to program the connection information into your computer..
