This class is about web design, so we need a place to keep our assignments.
The fttp server is caotclasses.lacitycollege.edu. It is a windows NT based server and seems to work just fine.
This is where you can upload your files. Each student should have a username and password which you will need to access the server.
There should be an address to view the pages, which should have been given to you with your username and password.

URL's for pages you upload are probably something similar.
If you are having trouble with the FTP site for this class, a second FTP and Web server is available. It uses Linux and Apache, where are very standard. Accounts are free for any student upon request for the duration of the class. If you want an acccount, please ask.

All website excercises should be uploaded to the server. Each chapter should be in a folder with a name like "lesson01". So you will have one folder for each lesson. You will also want to create a folder for the final project, called "final".
Every assignment you turn in, should have your name, on every page! No name, no credit! That's right, EVERY PAGE needs to have your name!
